During the free 2-hour personal consultation, preferences and specific requirements are discussed in the privacy of the Fashion Advice studio. Our familiarity with the merchandise and this season's fashion trends, means we can cherry-pick items to create imaginative outfits using the most flattering cuts, shapes, colours and fabrics to suit your body-shape, budget and lifestyle.

Home shopping service

Moving house? Setting up an office? Shopping list as long as your arm? Don't panic! If you’ve a large number of purchases to make then our Home shopper, can help you.

We specialise in furnishing entire properties, whether you’re moving into a new home or equipping a flat to rent, ensuring everything you need is delivered safely, in one drop.

If you're furnishing a flat to let then you may be interested in our Lettings Pack service.

How it works

Home shopping service at Peter Jones provides the easy way to furnish and equip a home in one simple and efficient step. From sofas to saucepans, tables to TVs, we can help you choose exactly what you need, then deliver everything to your door.

After we’ve discussed what you require, your expert Home shopper will take you around all the relevant departments, helping you choose what you want and putting together a list.

We’ll then create a detailed shopping list, complete with prices, and email it to you for your approval. Once you’re happy, we’ll start collating. There’s no minimum spend and no charge for standard delivery.

Lingerie advice

At Peter Jones, our experienced fitters measure your bust size and provide discreet advice for just the right bra for you. It costs nothing and means you will have a bra that`s both comfortable and looks good, whatever your needs.

We also provide specialist help with first bras, bras during pregnancy, nursing bras and bras following breast surgery.

We're here to help

Approximately 41,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in the UK. Many of our customers at Peter Jones have had breast surgery, or are about to undergo an operation. A well fitting bra becomes even more important afterwards, and we are proud to offer the advice and support that these customers will need.

It's important to remember that women may need to buy a new bra both prior to their operation, to allow for dressings, and then usually 6 to 8 afterwards once they have their prosthesis, and may need a specialist pocketed bra .

Amongst our team of fitters, we have specially trained advisors who can help women who have had mastectomies. It's always a delight when our customers tell us how more confident they feel once they have been fitted for a new bra or swimsuit.

We are also pleased to be able to work closely with both Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Breast Cancer Haven, who offer advice, counselling and complementary therapies.

Nursery advice

Buying for your baby couldn’t be easier

The world of nursery equipment and baby accessories can be confusing, especially if you are preparing for the arrival of your first baby. With so much to choose from, how do you know what is suitable, sensible and conforms to the safety standards?

One of our experienced Nursery advisors can help. During an informal one-to-one consultation, they`ll discuss your needs and help you compile a list of items on a Nursery Gift List that can be made available to you, your friends and family at any John Lewis shop, online or by phone.

• Your one-to-one consultation is relaxed, professional and free of charge. During the session, you will be given straightforward, impartial advice together with a tour of the Nursery department.
• Once you have decided which items you need, they will be registered on our computer system. You will then be given a reference number, which, if you choose to, you can pass on to friends and family who want to buy a gift from your list.
• Friends and family can contact John Lewis by phone, online or by visiting our shops. They make their choice, pay for the purchase and the gift is stored to await delivery.
• You can check the status of your list whenever you want, adding or removing items as you wish.
• Everything from your list can delivered together. If you live within a local delivery area, this service is free.

From bedding to buggies, car seats to carrycots, and furniture to feeding bottles our huge range of equipment and accessories provides you with everything you need.
