For a wide range of widescreen, LCD and plasma televisions take a look at our large Audio and television department. Our expert and impartial Partners can give you the low-down on hi-fi, the latest digital cameras, MP3 players, laptop and desktop PCs. We've a dedicated Audio/Visual room, in which you can experience the wonder of home cinema.

Peter Jones has a number of beauty treatment rooms, where you can enjoy a blissful facial, rejuvenating makeover or even a relaxing massage. We have 8 rooms available:

Bed linen

Our Ground floor Linens department is home to a fabulous range of bath and bed linen. Aside from our own-brand lines, which vary from great-value sets to luxurious collections, we have a number of designer brands. And if you still can’t find exactly what you want, we can tailor-make fitted sheets, flat sheets, valances, pillows, duvets or duvet covers to your specific requirements.

Duvets
When choosing duvets there’s lots to consider: weight, softness, warmth – and price. We have duvets that range from 2.5 to 13.5 tog, in synthetic, silk, feather or down, in a variety of price points.

Pillows
It’s worth taking the time to find the right pillow that will provide the correct balance of comfort and support. Try before you buy - we’ll be pleased to advise you on synthetic, natural, latex foam, Tempur and support pillows. We also offer pillows in different sizes: kingsize, boudoir, square or V-shaped.

Mattress protection
Prolong your mattress’s life with a protector: we’ve cotton, quilted, anti-allergy and waterproof. And mattress toppers add a luxurious extra layer, whether synthetic, goose feather and down, or latex foam.

Bed linen
Whatever your colour scheme, we’ve a design to match, whether you’re into zesty citrus shades, dark sumptuous tones, contemporary neutrals or crisp classic whites. Our sheets and duvet covers suit all budgets, from polycotton and flannelette to Egyptian cotton and silk. We also offer Fairtrade and organic cotton ranges.

Complete the look with a beautiful throw or bedspread: choose from classic wool, soft lambswool, luxurious cashmere or elegant silk. We also carry a wide range of woollen and cotton blankets.

Beds

With expert advice and a vast range of beds to suit any budget, Peter Jones is the best place to put your mind at rest.

We sell well-known brands such as Vispring, Hypnos, Spink and Edgar and our own, good-value John Lewis range. We stock folding and 2-in-1 beds - ideal for kids` sleepovers or where space is at a premium - as well as mattresses and bed bases to fit antique bedsteads. And if you have any particular needs, such a mixed tension bed or a special size or shape, we can usually meet your requirements.

Why not complete the look by taking advantage of our bespoke fitted bedroom service? The charge for estimating and planning service is just £50, which is redeemable against the cost of furniture.

Children's furnishings

Children's shoes

At Peter Jones our trained fitters identify the correct size and style to ensure the growing room vital for your children`s feet to develop properly. We balance the demands of fashion with the important needs of growing feet, giving help and reassurance.

And to make shopping for your children`s shoes as stress-free as possible, we`ve installed a plasma screen TV showing DVDs to keep them - and you - amused and entertained during fitting. And we also provide crayons and paper to keep them occupied.

China and glass

Our Ground floor department is well known for its fantastic collection of china, glass, cutlery, table linen and accessories.

Our own-brand John Lewis ranges combine cutting-edge design with exceptional value, and we also stock leading brands such as Andrew Martin, Dartington, Kosta Boda, LSA, Portmeirion, Robert Welch, Royal Doulton, Spode, Waterford and Wedgwood.

If you’re looking for something special for a wedding, christening or anniversary gift - or even just a finishing touch to your home – then there’s a sparkling choice of vases, figurines, candlesticks and silver. Or, for something unique, take a look at our beautiful collection of antique silver.

Electrical appliances

We sell models from most major brands, including American refrigeration and range cookers, which can be delivered directly to you within a few days.

All appliances carry a free 2-year guarantee, while our own-brand John Lewis has a free 3-year guarantee. This is all backed with a comprehensive after sales service.

We carry a wide range of kitchen appliances, including kettles, toasters, mixers, juicers, coffee machines, vacuums, irons and an extensive range of personal care products.

Fitted bedrooms

How it works
Our service begins with an experienced designer visiting you at home to plan and design your room for you. Not only will they bring with them a full set of samples for you to choose from they will provide you with a 3D visual and floor plan of how your room will look.

If you decide to go ahead and purchase, a surveyor will visit your home to double check all the measurements before your room is manufactured. Depending on which range you have chosen this typically takes 6 to 8 weeks. The qualified installer will then fit your furniture with the greatest of care and minimal disruption.

And because you have trusted Peter Jones with this purchase, our after sales care begins once we have installed your room. With a full 10-year guarantee and all the assurance of our longstanding reputation for the best value for money, you can continue to enjoy your beautiful new room for a very long time to come.

Fitted kitchens

Our Fitted kitchens department shows 11 new kitchen displays, designed by one of our expert planners. We feature kitchens from Alno, John Lewis and the John Lewis First and Colour Collections.

We have a wide range of designs to suit all homes and budgets, from sleek stainless steel to the classic beauty of maple or oak. You can make a more individual statement by combining such elements as wood and aluminium.

Our expert planners will ensure that your kitchen is practical as well as stylish, and will help you make the most of your available space. Experienced installers will fit your kitchen, undertaking all work from plumbing and wiring to gas connections.

John Lewis kitchens carry a 5-year guarantee and all the assurance of our long-standing reputation for offering the best value for money.

Floor coverings

We offer a choice of 28 ranges and 519 colours in our high quality, in-house John Lewis range of carpets. We also provide 67 additional ranges, with more than 700 colours from other manufacturers to choose from. Our department also stocks a contemporary range of stair runners, which can be made to any length.

Our measuring and estimating is free - and we can provide an estimate on the spot on site. Installation is carried out only by approved fitters. We can fit carpets normally between 2-4 weeks.

Flooring: hard and natural

Our hard and natural flooring includes laminates, vinyl, Caralium, Amtico and Marmoleum - all of which are robust and easy to clean. We offer natural flooring in wood, sisal, seagrass and coir.

Samples are available and a free measuring and estimating service can also be arranged.

Fresh flowers

Located at the Symons Street entrance of Peter Jones, Royal Warrant-holding Moyses Flowers has been at the forefront of London Floristry since they were established in 1876.

They sell fresh flowers, orchids and other beautiful house plants perfect for gifts or the home as well everything you could need to maintain your plants. They create stunning fresh flower gift ranges, including kitchenware brimming with beautiful blooms and fun and fabulous fresh flower handbags. Moyses Flowers can also create beautiful home arrangements, fresh flower decorations, exquisite vase designs for the workplace as well as providing a service for weddings, parties and other events.

Delivery

A minimum charge of £8.50, depending on postcode, will guarantee same day delivery for London orders placed before 1pm.

If delivering flowers outside London, the minimum charge is £8.50 and orders must be placed by 3pm for next day delivery.

Furnishings

Our Furnishing Fabrics and Blinds department is located right at the heart of the shop on the ground floor, flooded with natural light from the spectacular atrium 6 floors above.

We carry one of the largest ranges of fabric by the metre, comprising plains, prints, weaves and wipe-down designs. Aside from our John Lewis collections you can select fabric to order from a huge variety of branded hanging samples, including Designers Guild, Jane Churchill, and Osborne and Little.

A wide range of ready-made curtains and blinds, tracks, poles and fittings are available to take away; in addition we provide an express making-up service for curtains and roman blinds. You choose your fabric and styles from our gallery, provide us with your measurements, then we’ll arrange to have the finished articles delivered free within the UK within 7 days.

If you’re looking for a fully bespoke service, which includes measuring and fitting, our fabric, pole and style options are enormous - and we’ll fit them within 6 weeks of your order. We can also make up furniture loose covers, as well as made-to-measure blinds.

And complete your look with cushions, tie backs, bean bags and throw overs.

Furnishings in a hurry

Whether you are buying a new home or giving a room a makeover - if you need soft furnishings in a hurry, we can help.

Our express made-to-measure service guarantees delivery of curtains, valances, Roman blinds, voiles, cushion covers and tie backs delivered direct to your door within seven days.

Just provide the measurements and leave the rest to us.

Furniture

Our stunning department, with its sumptuous upholstery and beautifully crafted cabinets, enjoys a greater degree of natural lighting than anywhere else in London. You’ll find a wide variety of design, from ultra contemporary through to the absolute classic.

Try luxurious sofas such as the Burleigh, or the cleaned-lined contemporary styling of the Nikki corner unit. We have a large range of occasional chairs to suit most rooms or add to an existing suite. Oak, beech, cherry and walnut, all FSC-certified, feature in our collections of tables, chairs, coffee and lamp tables, and storage.

Moving house? Setting up an office? Shopping list as long as your arm? Don't panic! If you’ve a large number of purchases to make then our Home shopping service can help you.

We specialise in furnishing entire properties, whether you’re moving into a new home or equipping a flat to rent, ensuring everything you need is delivered safely, in one drop.

How it works

Home shopping service at Peter Jones provides the easy way to furnish and equip a home in one simple and efficient step. From sofas to saucepans, tables to TVs, we can help you choose exactly what you need, then deliver everything to your door.

After we’ve discussed what you require, your expert Home shopper will take you around all the relevant departments, helping you choose what you want and putting together a list.

We’ll then create a detailed shopping list, complete with prices, and email it to you for your approval. Once you’re happy, we’ll start collating. There’s no minimum spend and no charge for standard delivery.

The Lettings Pack is a list of the main things we think you may need when furnishing a house or flat, based on our experience with both individuals and lettings companies.

And for your household chores, our cleaning section wipes the floor, with eco-friendly solutions for every room, plus keeping bothersome pests at bay.

The right lighting can really enhance the character of a room. Take a look at our wide selection and see your home in a whole new light.

Our switched-on Partners can find something for every room, from simple spotlights to show-stopping chandeliers.

Personalised stationery

Peter Jones offers a personalised stationery service. We can cater for any occasion and have a comprehensive range of styles, fonts and formats to choose from.

Orders take between 4 and 6 weeks, but we also offer an express service: for an additional charge orders can be completed in 10 working days from the time the proof is approved.

PJ Butler Service

Our brand new service, affectionately dubbed the ‘Posh Drive-Through’, adds a whole new definition to personal shopping experiences. You’ll be able to get your retail therapy by ordering and paying for shopping over the phone before driving to the PJ Butler entrance on Symons Street to collect it. There, a dapper PJ Butler will be waiting with purchases ready to be loaded into the car – all at no extra cost.

This deluxe drive-through service is the ultimate solution to any shopping dilemma. Whether you’ve have been caught in the rain and have a last-minute fashion emergency, or simply fancy the shopping delivered straight to your car door without changing out of your pyjamas, Peter Jones’ PJ Butler provides the ultimate in convenience shopping.

Rugs

Whether your taste is for traditional or modern, formal or ethnic, highly patterned or plain, our varied selection of rugs can suit any room. We have kelims and flat-weaved, needlepoint, sheepskin and piled rugs from all around the world, including India, Nepal, Pakistan, Iran, China and Europe.

Although some of our assortment is repeatable, many of them are one-off pieces, designed by the individual weaver. Inspiration often comes from traditional motifs handed down from mother to daughter, or drawn from their immediate surroundings. It can take an individual weaver up to 6 months to create a unique hand-knotted rug.

Shutters

S:CRAFT’s made-to-order shutters come in a range of different styles that blend beautifully with your decor. They let you control the amount of light you let in - or block out completely when you need privacy.

For clever storage ideas look no further than Peter Jones’ basement. Whether you’re putting away your seasonal clothes, sorting out shoes, or putting away your prized record collection, you’ll find we have a solution for any storage problem.

Toys

Peter Jones is the largest toys retailer on the King’s Road. We stock a wide range of toys, including pre-school, pocket money, girls’ and boys’ toys, board games, books and puzzles, as well as outdoor toys. Top brands include Lego, Meccano, Brio, Barbie and Sylvanian Families.

Throughout the year we play host to several events, plus special appearances from some of the best-loved characters from the world of books and television.

And when it comes to Christmas we can show you all the must-have toys, so everyone’s happy on the day.

Wallpaper

We carry over 100 sample books from many leading designers, including Cole & Son, Jane Churchill, Osborne & Little, Sanderson, Zoffany and Harlequin, so you can choose just the right the perfect paper for you.

Suppliers can usually deliver your wallpaper direct to your home within 3-4 working days or send you free samples within a week.
